Payment Policy

Fairhand Home Appliances (“Fairhand,” “we,” “our,” “us”) provides secure and flexible payment options to make your purchase simple and transparent. This Payment Policy explains accepted payment methods, when you are charged, security measures, refund/chargeback handling, billing and taxes, and your responsibilities. It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions, Return & Refund Policy, Cancellation Policy, Shipping Policy, Delivery & Installation Policy, Service & Warranty Policy, Customer Responsibility Policy, and Complaints & Dispute Resolution Policy. If a subject is covered by a more specific policy (e.g., refunds), that specific policy controls for that subject.

By placing an order with Fairhand, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Payment Policy.


1) Scope & Applicability

  • Applies to payments for products and related services purchased through our website/store and any official Fairhand channels within our serviceable areas (currently Delhi NCR).

  • Covers COD/UPI after installation, UPI/digital payments, bank transfers (where arranged), and any advance deposits for special orders when applicable.

  • We may update or expand available payment methods from time to time.


2) Accepted Payment Methods

  1. Cash on Delivery (COD)

    • Available on most orders after successful delivery & installation.

    • Pay the exact amount shown on your invoice; delivery teams may not carry change.

  2. UPI Payments

    • Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, and bank UPI apps.

    • Typically collected after installation by scanning our official UPI QR or using the UPI ID shared by the delivery/installation team or support.

  3. Bank Transfer / IMPS / NEFT / RTGS (by prior arrangement)

    • Used mainly for corporate/bulk/custom orders or if COD is not feasible.

    • Proof of payment may be required before dispatch.

  4. Other Digital Methods

    • Card-based or BNPL/EMI options may be enabled via our payment gateway from time to time. Availability varies; any additional terms from the gateway/issuer will apply.

We do not accept payment via unofficial links, personal numbers, or third-party collectors. If in doubt, contact support@fairhand.in before paying.


3) Payment Timing

  • Standard flow: You pay after successful delivery, installation, and basic demo of the product (COD/UPI).

  • Advance/Deposit: For certain products (custom/special orders, scarce stock, or long-distance scheduling), a small advance may be requested and clearly communicated before order confirmation.

  • Prepayment by choice: If you prefer to prepay digitally, we can accept UPI/transfer after order confirmation.


4) Verification & Fraud Prevention

  • We may verify orders through confirmation calls/WhatsApp to prevent fraud or payment misuse.

  • If a transaction is flagged as high risk (e.g., mismatched details, repeated failures), we may hold, cancel, or request an alternate method. Any prepayment taken will be refunded per our Return & Refund / Cancellation terms.

  • We may ask for ID/address proof for high-value orders or atypical delivery situations.


5) Invoicing, Pricing & Currency

  • All amounts are quoted and charged in Indian Rupees (INR).

  • Prices may vary by city/service area due to logistics and installation factors.

  • You receive a tax invoice electronically (and/or printed with the delivery). Please ensure your email and billing details are correct.

  • Typographical errors or pricing mistakes may be corrected. If discovered post-order, we may cancel and offer a full refund of any amount paid, or request your consent to proceed at the correct price.


6) Taxes, Fees & Additional Charges

  • Prices shown are inclusive/exclusive of taxes as indicated on the product page/checkout and on your final invoice.

  • Additional charges (only when applicable) may include: society entry fees, special access handling, staircase lifts for large units where no elevator exists, or re-delivery after a failed attempt. We communicate such charges in advance wherever feasible.


7) Security of Payments

  • Our store is hosted on Shopify and uses trusted payment gateways with industry-standard encryption.

  • We do not store your card numbers or UPI PINs on our servers.

  • Always confirm you are paying via official Fairhand channels. If you suspect a phishing attempt, contact support@fairhand.in immediately.


8) COD Terms (Pay After Installation)

  • COD is offered to keep your purchase risk-free—you pay after:

    1. successful delivery,

    2. installation, and

    3. a basic demo confirming the product powers on and runs a quick test.

  • COD may be unavailable for some areas, high-value orders, or where access constraints introduce risk. We will inform you at order time if COD is not offered and propose an alternative (e.g., UPI after install).


9) Advance / Deposit Terms (If Requested)

  • Amount, reason, and refundability will be shared before you pay an advance.

  • If we cannot fulfill the order after taking an advance, you will receive a full refund of the advance.

  • If you cancel before dispatch, refunds follow our Cancellation Policy.


10) Partial Payments, Accessories & On-Site Add-Ons

  • Some accessories (pipes, stands, stabilizers, wall mounts, filters) may be recommended on installation day.

  • You will be told price and necessity before adding anything.

  • You may pay for accessories via COD/UPI along with the main product. These line items appear on your invoice.


11) Refunds & Overpayments (Where Applicable)

  • Most orders are pay-after-install, so refunds are uncommon.

  • Refunds apply in cases detailed in our Return & Refund Policy (e.g., verified DOA with no replacement available, order cancelled before dispatch when prepaid, duplicate charge).

  • If you accidentally overpay (e.g., duplicate UPI), send the transaction reference; we will verify and refund the extra.

  • Refunds are generally processed to the original method (UPI/digital). For COD, we refund via UPI/IMPS/Bank Transfer after verification. Standard processing time: 7–10 working days after approval (bank timelines may vary).


12) Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

  • If you dispute a transaction with your bank/UPI app, also email support@fairhand.in so we can investigate and resolve quickly.

  • Filing a chargeback before contacting us may slow resolution. We share installation records, delivery proofs, and service notes to the payment processor during investigations.

  • Proven unauthorized/duplicate charges are refunded per the bank’s process.


13) Cancellations & Payment Impact

  • Before dispatch: You can cancel; if any prepayment was made, we refund per Cancellation Policy.

  • After dispatch/out for delivery: Cancellation is typically not possible; we proceed with delivery/installation and payment as scheduled.

  • Any exceptions (e.g., serviceability issue discovered mid-route) will be handled case-by-case with a fair resolution.


14) Failed Delivery / Missed Appointments

  • If delivery fails due to unreachable contact, no access, or no recipient present, we will reschedule.

  • Repeated failed attempts may incur a re-delivery fee; payment remains due after successful installation.


15) Post-Warranty Paid Service Payments

  • After the 180-day seller warranty ends, you may request paid service.

  • Charges typically include visit + parts (if needed), shared beforehand.

  • Payment is due on completion of the service visit via UPI or COD.


16) Your Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate billing details and keep them updated.

  • Pay only via official channels and retain receipts/UPI confirmations.

  • At delivery, ensure you have the chosen payment method ready.

  • Report suspected payment errors or unauthorized activity immediately.

18) Changes to this Payment Policy

We may update this Payment Policy to reflect changes in payment options, gateways, security practices, or law. Updates will be posted here with a revised “Last updated” date and apply prospectively.
